Zheng Yan Wuyi Rock Teas

We invite you to experience the essence of Wuyishan, one of China's most revered tea regions and a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its rich culture and stunning landscapes. Over the past three years, we've visited this region four times, forging strong relationships with family-owned producers who craft specialty tea using centuries-old traditions and techniques. We’re proud to bring you four exceptional rock oolong teas, all sourced directly from the Wuyishan National Park, the core area known as the Zheng Yan ("original rock") region. We’ve selected unique varieties—Su Xin Lan, Qi Zhong, Huang Mei Gui, and Tie Luo Han—that offer a fresh perspective beyond the most well-known Da Hong Pao, Rou Gui, and Shui Xian. Harvested and processed in 2023 and now perfectly rested, each of these teas showcases the distinctive "rock bones" and floral fragrance for which Wuyi rock teas are famous. Rock teas from the Zheng Yan region are renowned for their mineral-rich character, a product of the region’s rocky terrain and exceptional terroir. As you steep them, take a moment to savor not just their exquisite flavors, but the centuries of history and culture they embody.
