- Portion: Use one dragonball (~8 g) per serving. Halve with a tea knife if you prefer a lighter flavor. Water Temperature: Use boiling water at 100 °C (212 °F) for all steps. Rinse (Optional): Rinse for 30 seconds before the first infusion to help the ball loosen. Steeping: For the first three infusions, steep for 30 seconds, 20 seconds, and 10 seconds. Use flash steeps thereafter, increasing the time as the flavor fades.
- Description
- Made from mature late-spring leaves of Yunnan large-leaf tea trees, harvested in the Mangshi Zhongshan tea area and fermented anaerobically for three months. Shaped into compact dragonballs for convenience, it has a pronounced fruity acidity, fine texture, and good aftertaste. The shorter fermentation time yields a brighter, more fruit-forward profile while retaining the smoothness of De’ang sour tea.
