Description
Mei Zhan is an extremely popular tea varietal with big leaves originated from Lutian town. Since over one hundred years ago, it started being planted in many tea regions. When being made in the Anxi oolong style, it’s usually roasted like traditional Tie Guan Yin. It’s also well-known when made into rock tea and black tea in Wuyishan, and it could also be made into white tea or green tea. This tea was harvested from the varietal’s birthplace and named after the varietal, where the producer is an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage of Mei Zhan teas.
