Description
This is a black tea made from the Mi Lan Xiang cultivar. Usually, spring harvest of dancong tea leaves are made into oolong teas due to the higher market demand and price. However, this producer decided to make some black tea in the spring, instead of using summer or autumn harvest to produce black tea like most other producers. It’s made of small and tender leaves, and it has a full body and smooth texture. Its honey sweetness is lingering and soothing. Mi Lan Xiang means honey orchid aroma in Chinese, referencing its uniquely sweet honey aftertaste with a bright orchid aroma.
