Portion: Each packet contains 8.3 g for a single serving. Water Temperature: 100°C / 212°F. Gongfu style: 110ml white porcelain gaiwan. Steep within 3 seconds for the first 3 infusions, then adjust steeping time each round based on desired intensity.
Description
Jian'ou Champion Ai Jiao Oolong (建瓯擂主矮脚乌龙) originates from ecological forest tea gardens in the core Beiyuan production area of Guilin Village and Changyuan Village, Dongfeng Town, Jian'ou, at an elevation of 850 meters. It claimed the champion title at the 2025 Beiyuan Oolong Competition. The ancient tea trees, aged 90 to 100 years old, grow naturally amidst original forest vegetation, nurtured all year round by clouds and mist. The fertile soil rich in trace minerals enables these ancient trees to accumulate rich and solid internal essence. Harvested annually in mid-May and crafted using traditional Beiyuan ancient methods with light to medium charcoal roasting, all steps performed to preserve the fresh sweetness of the ancient tree material. The flavor is clean and elegant, with pronounced natural sweetness and a subtle, lingering orchid floral aroma that showcases the refreshing charm of old tree oolong.
