Description
This yellow tea comes from the renowned Mt. Mengding, where one of the four most famous yellow teas, Mengding Huangya (Yellow Bud), is produced. Translating to "Yellow Small Tea," Huang Xiao Cha is a category of yellow teas made with 1 bud and 1 or 2 leaf picking standard. The fresh tea leaves were plucked in the early days of spring, sourced from Lao Chuan Cha (Old Sichuan Tea) tea trees, a native variety of Sichuan. Following the initial fixation (kill-green) process, this tea undergoes the distinctive "Men Huang" process for yellow tea. Distinguished by its gently curled appearance, in contrast to the straight form of Mengding Huangya, this Mengding Huang Xiao Cha reveals a dry leaf blending yellowish-green and dark green hues, adorned with silver tea buds. The texture is impeccably smooth, while the flavor captivates with its natural sweetness.
