This osmanthus scented Tibetan tea from February (I think!) really makes for a great grandpa style with a little western oat milk. Perfect for a rainy grey day.

Definitely worth trying to get used to, uncommon tea for me so far as you can read out of my taste-/smell-notes.

Today felt like a black tea day so I’m delving into the Tibetan osmanthus. The energies are both squirrelly and nebulous so I appreciate the grounded earthiness of this Yun He Shan. Go easy today ♥️

I tasted the osmanthus scented hei cha from the February TeaClub. While going through a Covid-19 infection, so I am not sure my tasting notes are accurate, but I liked it anyway!

A nice tea session on my lunch break. I realized today that my trip last week and the week where I wasn’t allowed to drink has put me behind in the tasting of samples, so I’m going to try to do more sessions during the w… more

I effectively tainted my own experiment by determining I was tasting pasta water and buttered noodles. After reaching that conclusion I hyper focused on it. I’ll try again another time 😔

The dry aroma is so unique. Sweet and yet slightly woody with honeyed undertones. It reminds me of the macadamia flower honey I bought in Kauai. Wet aroma is similar but slightly r… more

This was an interesting tea. I loved the warmth of the tea’s Cha qi down my throat and across my chest but the flavor profile was interesting! Not what I’d expect from a heicha so I need to sit with it for a while. I’ll… more
