Steeping instructions
Gongfu style at 100˚C/212˚F using gaiwan or Zisha teapot. Unnecessary to rinse. Depending on your desired intensity, use 5-10g : 110ml ratio. Flash steep or very short steeping time for the first 3 infusions, and then extend as wanted.
Description
One of the four famous bushes of Wuyi Mountains, Shui Jin Gui originated from the Tianyou Peak near Wuyi Star’s Tea Science Institute. Shui Jin Gui cultivar was said to be discovered in the Qing dynasty, and it was named after a beautiful legend. Shui Jin Gui tea trees possess grayish bark and curly branches; its leaf appears light emerald in color and elliptic. The tea is taut, slightly curved with brightness. It has subtle fragrance enduring through several infusions with long-lasting sweet aftertastes.
