Description
Harvested on September 7, 2024, during the Bai Lu (White Dew) solar term, this exceptional black tea comes from Yinxing Village of Junlian County, the core production area for Chuan Hong Gong Fu black tea. Cultivated at an altitude of 1200 meters, the tea is made from the Fuyun No. 6 cultivar and processed using traditional techniques: withering, rolling, fermenting, and drying. The result is a tea with delicate golden buds, a high aroma, and a vivid golden-red liquor. Chuan Hong Gong Fu black tea was developed in the 1950s. Junlian County, which neighbors northeastern Yunnan and boasts an ideal climate and fertile soil, was chosen as a key site for producing black tea to support China’s tea trade. Over decades, it has become synonymous with premium Chinese black tea, known for its aromatic richness and smooth flavor. This tea comes from a family-run operation with four generations of tea-making expertise, deeply rooted in the traditions of Chuan Hong Gong Fu. Compared to spring harvest black teas, this autumn harvest tea offers a mellower aroma, with a more rounded sweetness. Awarded a five-star recommendation for "China’s Great Black Tea" in 2024, this White Dew Black Tea reflects the masterful balance of craftsmanship and natural terroir. Its flavor is clean, sweet, and slightly viscous, with a lingering finish that embodies the essence of autumn harvests.
