Description
This tea came from an EU-certified organic tea plantation on a mountain that produces organic teas for export. Its origin, Panxi town, is considered one of the best micro-regions of Fuding for producing the highest quality white tea. The tea trees grow in the wilderness, nearly 50 years old and over 3 meters tall on average. In the winter of 2016, its mature and tender leaves were hand-picked to make this tea. Despite the large leaves, it was not harvested by machine. When being steeped, they will appear to be tender. This tea could only be picked once every two years. Harvesting it every year would affect the quality and yield of Silver Needle and White Peony teas. It is a very rare and innovative product on the market, as almost no other business is producing and selling it. It is characterized by its lotus leaf fragrance and rock sugar sweetness. Because the leaves are thick and full, with high crude fiber content, this tea can be boiled after steeping, which will bring out its mellowness and make the best use of it. This tea came in a loosely pressed cake that weighs 300 grams. We pried and portioned the tea cakes, so unavoidably there may be some broken leaves in your package.
