Naturally Scented Teas

When flowers bloom in the summer, it's the time to make and taste naturally scented teas! We curated 5 teas from 5 different tea categories (green, white, yellow, black, and dark) scented with 3 kinds of flowers (jasmine, osmanthus, and gardenia): - Jasmine flower is the most popular flower for scenting teas, and we picked two jasmine scented teas freshly produced in mid-August: a 7-time scented green needle and a 5-time scented yellow tea, which are both rare finds even in China's domestic market. - Back in June, our founder Vincent used 4 batches of gardenia flowers to scent some 2018 Tibetan teas, an exclusive small-batch tea for our club members. - We also selected two osmanthus scented teas, a 2013 Organic Gong Mei and a 2021 Jiu Qu Hong Mei. The latter is a famous black tea made from the Long Jing cultivar. Compared with artificially flavored teas, specialty level scented teas take much more craftsmanship and time to be produced, using many batches of fresh flowers. They won't easily lose their floral aroma and stay consistent throughout many infusions. Please refer to our detailed brewing instructions for each tea on our app because they vary for each tea category. Hope you can join our weekly events to virtually taste and discuss the same teas, and be sure to share our tea club with your friends or on social media #myteapal #myteapalclub.
