Description
This 2022 Autumn Wild-Grown Shou Mei (寿眉) comes from the high-mountain area of Guanyang Town, at around 650m, crafted from Fuding Da Hao material. The tea comes from the producer’s own mountain garden, where tea trees around 30 years old are largely left to grow naturally with minimal intervention. After harvest and traditional white tea processing (natural withering and drying), the tea was compressed into biscuit-shaped portions (~5g each). This format preserves aging potential while making brewing effortless: one biscuit is an easy “one-session” dose for gongfu brewing, and it also performs extremely well in a thermos or large mug. Shou Mei, or “Longevity Eyebrow,” is named for the distinctive crescent shape of its mature leaves and is known for its mellow sweetness and rounded character.
