Yunnan province is famous for producing puerh and black teas, yet its high-quality green teas are hard to find. This is a high-mountain green tea produced in Nanjian county made by tea farmers for their own consumption rather than for sale.
The tea trees grow organically and are around 120-150 years old. They were harvested on April 1, 2022, and the picking grade is one bud and two leaves. The processing technique is to pan-fry, roll, and then sun-dry.
After so many dark teas these months, for some reason this Phoenix green was the perfect compliment to curling up on the couch in this thunder and lightening rain storm…and a great Cdrama! 😃

Still good although very sensitive to the temp. Cooler is better for sweet snd nutty. Goes bitter steeped too long
