Description
Yunwu Tribute Tea is a traditionally restored curly shape green tea from Guiding county of Guizhou. Yunwu, the town’s name, literally means cloud mist, which matches with the region’s environment - high mountains surrounded by clouds and mist. There’s a historical text recording the origin place’s tribute tea history in the year of 606, and till today a big stone monument from 1790 stands in Yunwu town, witnessing its past contributing tea to the imperial court. This tea was produced on April 2, made from the local variety Niao Wang tea trees. The dry leaves are curly and rich with fine silvery hairs. The taste is uniquely fresh with a light umami note.
